Job Description

Your new base

You will join a team of experienced development team that have responsibility over:

  • Developing new functionality to the platform
  • Making sure the quality is at place before a release
  • Operating the service
  • Performing the migration from the server based solution to AWS cloud solution

You are a part of an autonomous team using agile methods. As a part of the team, you will also be improving team’s ways of working, as well as choosing the best technologies and methods for your team. Your team will be located in Finland and in Germany. Your team communication language will be English.

First and foremost we expect you to be open-minded and not afraid to learn new things. We’re looking for a person who takes responsibility and initiative, takes the lead where needed, and embraces team work. Don’t worry, you won’t be the only one with these traits. We want you to have a mindset “automation first” what comes to testing. When a new feature has been implemented, tests should be ran automatically in pipeline – after you QA team has implemented these tests. You also want to really understand the system in and out in order to make sure the quality is assured with the test sets you create

Qualifications

You have experience with some of the following (and are keen of learning the rest):

  • Building automated tests for backend services
  • Web frontend testing (Selenium/Cypress/?)
  • Understanding complex services in and out
  • Experience of testing highly available, scalable and secure systems.
  • AWS or some other cloud service
