Job Description

As a Payment Specialist (m/w/d) at the Munich office you will be part of our Customer Success team. This is a new area at our Client that provides strategic and content support to the international sales and product departments across the group.

Using state-of-the-art technologies, we optimize the check-out process, use payment data to increase sales for our merchants, and identify friction points in our products.

Your key tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Be an internal expert in payment optimization strategies as well as an external one.
  • Leverage extensive expertise in payments to develop robust optimization plans.
  • Develop and deploy sophisticated optimization initiatives across client portfolio and continually evolve them to ensure our insights are always up to date.
  • Lead discussions with our largest existing and potential customers and provide the Sales team with tools and training to lead discussions with customers.
  • Summarize and share customer feedback and our findings with product teams.
  • Work closely with your international colleagues to drive cross-group initiatives forward.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional experience in Payments, ideally with a strong product or analytical focus.
  • Highly numerate with strong data preparation, analysis, and visualization skills.
  • In-depth knowledge in transaction processing, payment integration and regulations.
  • Preferred experience in presenting to senior leaders and/or customers.
  • An ability to establish and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • The capability to thrive in a fast-moving, unstructured environment.
  • Being a self-starter capable of driving business results without significant supervision.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. power BI) or willingness to learn is a must
  • Fluency in German and English
